FULGORE, Bass Fuzz

Fulgore is Vigor Audio's debut into the world of bass fuzz.

The fuzz stage itself is a dual silicon diode clipper which is followed by a 2nd-order LPF with a sweep-able cut-off frequency range of 1.7KHz - 3.8KHz, and a toggle for a subtle +3 dB resonant/Q boost for some high-end crackle and fizz.

BLEND: Blends the bass's dry/clean signal with the pedal's wet (fuzz) signal.

CLEAN BOOST: When toggled on, applies a moderate +10 dB boost to the dry/clean signal for the active BLEND circuit only. The boost itself does not push the fuzz stage further.

This boost is useful for keeping the clean-thick low-end of the original tone intact and heard when blending in the wet/fuzz signal.

LEVEL: Sets the volume or "level" of the fuzz/wet signal only.

FILTER: A low-pass filter (LPF) with a sweep-able cut-off frequency range from 1700 Hz - 3800 Hz.

RESONANT BOOST: Activating the bottom-left footswitch adds a subtle + 3 dB resonant peak boost around the filter's cut-off frequency for extra high-end crackle. This also helps with helping the bass fuzz cut-through a mix.

SPUTTER: Essentially works like a noise gate and adds a "velcro"-y texture to the overall tone. (HIGH: More gated, less sustain. LOW: Less gated, medium sustain. OFF: No gate, full sustain)

FUZZ: Well...sets the fuzz.

9V-18VDC Operation. For basses with hotter pre-amps (or high signal output swings), 18V is preferred. Negative center-tip ONLY.

Input/Output Jacks are topside-mounted.
